What is a Virus? A virus is a computer program that automatically copies itself, thereby infecting other disks or programs without the user knowing it. Not all viruses are disruptive or malicious, but most affect the performance of your computer or network. Some will erase the entire contents of your hard drive and some will flood your network connection with so much traffic it will become unusable. How can you protect yourself from viruses?
